Or it could be because, while it hasn’t fully broken down, it’s not performing as it should and you need some advice.

I have a problem with my gas boiler
1. Check your boiler for any warning lights or error codes .
Most modern boilers have lights or codes that will give you an indication of what the problem could be. Look in your boiler manual or search online for that light or code, it may be that you can fix the problem yourself.
2. Check your gas supply.
You can check your gas supply by lighting another gas appliance such as your cooker hob or gas fire. Check that your home gas isolation valve is open. This can be found in your gas meter box.
3. Check your water pressure.
Your gas boiler needs to have a certain amount of water pressure to run. Look at your pressure gauge and see if it is between 1 and 1.45 bar of pressure. If below fill the system.
